FoodChain ID Certification (formerly known as CERT ID) was established in 1999 to meet the demands of retail, food and agricultural organizations that were seeking a certification service to determine the presence of genetically modified organisms (GMOs) in foodstuffs. FoodChain ID Certification has grown strongly since and is now a recognized leader in the provision of Non-GMO, sustainability, feed, and food safety inspection and certification services. Today, FoodChain ID Certification provides services to over 15,000 customers.

The Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) is a non-profit organization and international standard setter dedicated to the conservation of fish stocks and healthy oceans. It is actively working on driving forward a global market for sustainable fish. Being committed to sustainable fisheries and transparent product traceability, the MSC develops and manages standards for both areas. The NASAA Organic spring leaf label is recognized as upholding the highest standards of integrity and benchmarks for the industry.

The Institute of Technology and Testing of Construction Materials has many fields of activity. The Institute’s teaching activities cover the entire field of building materials in building, engineering and infrastructure construction. The affiliated TVFA deals with testing activities in the fields of metallic and non-metallic building materials, construction chemistry and calibration. TVFA-ZERT has been accredited as a product certification body since February 2014.

The National Organic Program (NOP), part of the U.S. Department of Agriculture, was established by Congress in 2001 to develop and enforce uniform national standards for organically-produced agricultural products sold in the United States. Operating as a public-private partnership, NOP accredits private companies and helps train their inspectors to certify that farms and businesses meet the national organic standards.

With its Organic Food Program, the Washington State Department of Agriculture (WSDA) is responsible for the certification of 89% of all certified organic producers in Washington.
