2020 Highlights: Improved Customer Support & New Products
Dec 14, 2020Intact worked tirelessly in 2020 to expand our service with customer care improvements in the form of enhanced support teams and improved products. This way, we help our customers to improve their efficiency in working with our products even further.
2020 has been an incredibly challenging year for all of us. However, from great adversity comes great innovation, and we are happy to come out of this year looking back at major advancements. Intact worked tirelessly to enhance our service with expanded support teams and improved products, and can’t wait to continue serving our customers in 2021.
Global Support Round the Clock
At the beginning of the year, when the ongoing COVID-19 situation began, we focused our efforts on how to best assist our customers during these times. After intense check-ins with customers and an assessment of the situation, we decided that the best way for us to help was to amp up our support network.
With that in mind, we put our efforts towards getting the increased global customer support up and running as quickly as possible. In a matter of months, we hired more than a dozen new employees, launched a dedicated support team in the Oceana region, and expanded project, support, and sales capacity in the United States.
All of the advancements we’ve made this year will help optimize our customers’ experience with the Intact Platform. This allows us to strengthen long-lasting business relationships and move towards new horizons. Intact is already busy working on major implementations coming in 2021, including improvements in test automation and feature sets – we can’t wait to share them with you.

Intact Products – Many advances and a giant leap forward
Ongoing Transition to SaaS
Our transition to an easy-access Software as a Service (SaaS)-model for our core products has continually progressed in 2020. Once again, a large number of customers switched to our new model, providing them with direct access to our latest Intact Platform improvements, innovations, and available add-ons.
Intact Platform – New Standard Integration & Improved Remote Tools
Our core product, formerly known as ECERT, has now officially transitioned to the Intact Platform. Along with the new name comes a refreshed look and various improvements, providing our SaaS customers with an overall enhanced experience.
Over the last year, we implemented dozens of new features and advancements, including improved remote, onsite, and offline audit functionality and new web modules to better manage audit assignments, projects, and time tracking.
In a significant leap forward for the food safety industry, Intact developed new interfaces that integrate with existing food safety systems like BRCGS and GLOBALG.A.P. The Intact Platform GLOBALG.A.P. Module integrates both the GLOBALG.A.P Database and Audit Online Hub. For the first time ever, auditors and certifiers now only have to enter data once. The new and improved Intact Platform raises the standard for state-of-the-art certification and audit software. As always, we based the improvements on feedback from our customers on their needs and wishes. We will continue to innovate and evolve based on inputs from the entire Intact Community.
In addition to our expanded support and product improvements, the Intact Platform’s fully digital, end-to-end workflow allowed us and our customers to work remotely, safeguarding everyone’s health during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Intact Mobile – the Entire Audit Process at the Tip of Your Finger
The Intact Mobile Audit App is the ready to use audit and certification tool for auditing on the go. The app is now available with improved functionality and is even easier to use. Checklist filters make it simple to find the items you’re looking for in complex, multi-section lists. The new merged checklists feature makes multi-standard audits even more straightforward.
Intact BI – Integrated Business Intelligence for Complete Oversight
Intact is proud to have launched our brand-new Business Intelligence (BI) module in 2020. Intact BI provides Tableau based management dashboards allowing customers to monitor, explore, and visualize data – anytime, anywhere.
The graphic interfaces and interactive dashboards make it easy to instantly translate complex data sets into high-end business intelligence resources that can be shared with your executive decision-makers and customers. Users can set automatically generated reports, alarms, and notifications, so you have access to the right information at the right time.
