Mérieux NutriSciences strengthens food testing leadership in Peru

As of September 1, Bureau Veritas’s Food Analysis and Inspection division in Peru has officially merged into Mérieux NutriSciences under the local entity Food Testing Solutions Peru, maintaining familiar quality standards.  

FLOCERT appointed auditor for ICE Commodity Traceability platform 

FLOCERT has been chosen by ICE Benchmark Administration to independently audit the new Commodity Traceability platform, which supports compliance with EU deforestation rules for coffee and cocoa. The audits will cover farm, production, and supply chain data to ensure reliability.  

Rainforest Alliance launches new Regenerative Agriculture Certification for coffee

Starting early 2026, coffee farms and brands will be able to use a new Rainforest Alliance certified regenerative label—based on science-backed metrics in soil, biodiversity, climate, water, and livelihoods—to show their products go beyond sustainability and actively restore ecosystems. 

SASO recognizes TÜV SÜD Middle East for ICT Compliance Certification

In July 2025, TÜV SÜD Middle East was officially recognized by Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization (SASO) as a Notified Body under the SALEEM program, authorizing it to issue product and shipment certificates for wireless and telecom equipment, thereby enhancing Saudi market access for ICT manufacturers.
