FSSC 22000 launches development of Version 7 Scheme

The FSSC 22000 Scheme has begun developing its upcoming Version 7, aligning with the new ISO 22002-x (2025) PRP series, the Global Food Safety Initiative Benchmarking 2024 requirements, and strengthened sustainability commitments; while Version 6 remains effective until the formal transition.

DNV reports ISO/IEC 27701’s Oct. 14 release as a stand-alone privacy standard, outlining implications for certified organizations and auditors. 

IAF and ILAC move forward with Global Accreditation Cooporation Incorporated launch

At its second General Assembly (Oct 2025), IAF and ILAC approved key steps to transfer their Multilateral Recognition Arrangements to the newly formed Global Accreditation Cooperation Incorporated, setting the organization to officially start on January 1, 2026.
