Global Accreditation Cooperation Incorporated launches

On January 1, the newly formed Global Accreditation Cooperation Incorporated began operations, merging the International Accreditation Forum (IAF) and the International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC) into a single global accreditation organization with one Multilateral Recognition Arrangement (MRA) to streamline mutual recognition of accredited conformity assessment results worldwide.

TIC Council signs MoU with OAS to support consumer product safety

The TIC Council and the Organization of American States (OAS) have signed a memorandum of understanding to collaborate on consumer product safety, enabling OAS member states to draw on TIC expertise and best practices in testing, inspection, and certification to strengthen regulatory frameworks and enforcement.
