EU confirms mandatory use of first four EUDAMED Modules
On 27 November 2025, the European Commission published Decision (EU) 2025/2371 declaring the first four EUDAMED modules fully functional. Under Regulation (EU) 2024/1860, the modules—Actor Registration; UDI/Device Registration; Notified Bodies & Certificates; and Market Surveillance—become mandatory for medical-device/IVD stakeholders from 28 May 2026.
