Overview

This year’s event focused on shaping a more sustainable and resilient future for food safety, and was explored through dynamic keynote addresses, expert panels, and more. Attendees had the opportunity to gain practical insights into the latest scientific developments, digital tools, and industry best practices.

Two Intact employees, Jake and Robbin, were on-site in Dublin to join the conversation, connect with industry peers, and brought back valuable insights.

Connecting Standards and Innovation: Intact’s GFSI Conference Experience

The GFSI Conference in Dublin once again brought together key voices in food safety, offering a platform to dig into the challenges and opportunities shaping the industry today. From our conversations with certification bodies and global partners to sessions on regulatory alignment and supply chain risk, it’s clear that collaboration and transparency remain central themes.

Our team noted a growing focus on proactive risk management and continuous improvement, not just compliance. There was also a strong interest in how data and digital tools can help bridge gaps between standard setters, certification bodies, and audited organizations. These trends point to an industry ready to evolve beyond checklists and toward more strategic, outcome-focused approaches.

Data Innovation in Auditing

One exciting conversation centered around the next era of audit data, especially following the announcement of our OASIS Insights™ launch. We had in-depth discussions with certification bodies and standard setters about how benchmarking and analytics can drive value beyond the audit itself.

By enabling real-time comparisons, deeper visibility, and performance tracking across sites and systems, tools like OASIS Insights™ are helping organizations turn audit data into actionable intelligence. It was rewarding to see strong interest in how the principles behind OASIS Insights™ – transparency, benchmarking, and data-driven decision-making – could inspire innovation in audit practices across other industries.

Until Next Year

The conference wrapped up on a high note with a lively dinner at the iconic Guinness Storehouse, a fitting end to an inspiring few days. Many thanks to The Consumer Goods Forum for hosting such a well-organized and impactful GFSI25. We’re already looking forward to next year!
