About TÜV SÜD Medical Health Services

Challenges and goals

In 2023, the Medical Health Services unit of TÜV SÜD Product Service was seeking a unified, user-centric solution to streamline processes across its audit process.    

The organization was ready to leverage an existing solution rather than custom-developing it—one that would deliver value quickly and scale across multiple departments.  

The solution

TÜV SÜD Medical Health and Services explored external software solutions with the clear target to digitalize its audit process, focusing on quick, tangible results. In that process, Intact stood out for its deep understanding of the certification business.  

What set Intact apart was the ability to work closely with TÜV SÜD Medical Health Services to configure its Platform in line with their requirements.  

To strengthen collaboration, the Intact team visited TÜV SÜD Medical Health Services at their Munich headquarters, delivering tailored demos and showcasing a live system configuration. This hands-on approach gave TÜV SÜD Medical Health Services’ team direct insight into how the solution would work in practice, reinforcing their confidence in the decision to move forward. From the start of the assessment phase in early 2024, the project moved forward with focus and momentum from both partners. As part of this phase, a Proof of Concept (POC) was conducted to validate system capabilities and align on critical workflows. This not only laid a strong foundation for the final decision but also gave the TÜV SÜD Medical Health Services team a head start for the implementation phase.  

TÜV SÜD Medical Health Services is deploying the Intact Platform via a phased rollout. The approach is structured and collaborative, with Intact providing hands-on guidance throughout configuration and deployment. Initial workshops and live system demonstrations helped align the Platform with TÜV SÜD Medical Health Services’ operational requirements, while seamless integration with existing systems ensures consistency and scalability. The project’s positive track-record so far is rooted in a close partnership, as Intact’s team has played a critical role in guiding TÜV SÜD Medical Health Services through a fast-paced implementation to ensure the Platform is not only fully functional but also effectively adopted and scaled across the organization.   

Hot Standby 

In addition, TÜV SÜD Medical Health Services has successfully implemented our “Hot Standby” offering – an advanced hosting architecture designed to ensure maximum business continuity. In the event of a failure at the primary hosting location, a fully operational backup site would be activated within minutes.
