Starting a new job is exciting, but it can come with a mix of nerves. At Intact, we want every new team member to feel welcome and supported from day one, so we’ve introduced a “buddy system” designed to make your transition smooth and enjoyable.
What is a Buddy?
Your buddy is a member of your team who’s here to be your go-to person for all things Intact. They’ll guide you through company processes, explain policies, help you with time bookings, and answer any questions about day-to-day life at Intact. They’re there for those “new-hire” questions—no question is too small or “silly” to ask.
How Does the Buddy System Work?
Before your first day at Intact, we assign you a buddy to ensure everything’s set for your arrival. On your first day, you’ll be welcomed by HR, your department head, and of course, your buddy. Throughout your first week, your buddy will introduce you to people, join you for coffee breaks, and make sure you’re settled in, so you feel part of the team from the very start.
